Positive Times Ahead

I have been really excited to see a number of articles in The New York Times – Editorial Section this year, addressing recidivism, rehabilitation, and the difficulties past offenders face once they are out of jail in the US.

The better informed we can make the public, the lower the stigma attached to past offenders, and the more chance we have of a decent future ahead of us once we have served our time.

Here are links to four such articles … keep up the good news, NY Times!

2015/02/28 Remove Unfair Barriers To Employment

2015/03/19 Job Hunting With A Criminal Record

2015/08/01 For Prisoners A Path To Society

2015/10/19 How To Get Around A Criminal Record
